The WFH is in loving memory of June Olson who offered vision for this project

June was a member of Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde & Tribal elder deeply involved with tribal cultural resources and history. It was June’s vision of helping the people of Grand Ronde aspire to higher positions as well as restoration of the Willamette Falls site that inspired the creation of the Willamette Falls House Innovation and Support Center. Her wishes for restoring the “Tumwater” ,or heartbeat, of “walamt tumwata” (Willamette waterfalls) through the clean-up and creation of a cultural community center are a driving force for the WFH.
